During my recent stay at Buckingham Place, I found myself immersed in a serene haven where thoughtful hospitality meets the lush vibrancy of Sri Lanka. The extraordinary infinity pool overlooking the turquoise Indian Ocean served as the perfect backdrop to our long, leisurely breakfasts that were nothing short of a culinary delight. Nick, the warm and welcoming owner, made it evident that every detail - from the diverse, rotating menu to the seamless service - was curated with care, ensuring that each guest feels right at home. The luxury suites provided expansive views of the surrounding mangrove landscapes, allowing my travel companions and me to feel connected with nature while offering refuge after our adventures. Buckingham Place stands out not only for its stunning design and thoughtful amenities, but it also fosters a sense of community spirit. Knowing that simply being here supports local initiatives added a profound layer to our experience. I left feeling restored, with plans to return for a longer escape in this enchanting setting.
